The seventh International Spice Conference (ISC-2024), organized by the All India Spices Exporters Forum (AISEF) is scheduled to be held on March 03–06, 2024 at Hyatt Regency, Gurgaon, Delhi-NCR.

The theme of ISC 2024, “Shaping the Future: Trends and Insights,” focuses on the future of the spice industry and aims to provide insights into the emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities that will shape the industry in the coming years. The theme emphasizes the need for innovation and sustainable practices along the supply chain to ensure the long-term viability of the industry.

ISC 2024 has tweaked the format to facilitate interactions from the participants through panel discussions, fireside chats, and keynote addresses on each day by domain experts. ISC 2024 will also provide enough time for Q&A during business sessions and for networking outside the business sessions.

In a few years, the world will be defined as BC and AC (Before Covid and After Covid). What we knew as the norm four years back is not the norm anymore. Covid, Ukraine war, recent crisis in Middle East, climate change etc are affecting all walks of life including agriculture. The world is looking at a paradigm shift in the way we live, eat, conduct business, and evaluate life choices. Businesses will now have to change faster and not wait to evolve. The time is now to adapt or perish! Agility is the critical success factor in this rapidly changing world.

Into this equation we now have AI, aiming to replace mundane humans’ tasks – for now. But AI too shall evolve rapidly as more data is gathered and processed for creating newer algorithms. Time is not far when AI will have a role in almost all facets of our lives. In this context the spice industry too has several challenges.

ISC 2024 aims to touch upon these challenges as we stand at this cusp taking into cognisance the current events and look at the future of our Industry, to discuss the present and immediate asks that should keep us relevant and cater to the new world.

The conference aims to understand the key factors affecting the spice industry's future and will report industry growth and trends analysis. As always, dedicated presentations on 'Crops and Markets' of various spices will bring to the audience the production, demand, and supply of major spices.
